Rest & Retreat is an invitation to come home to the body through gentle movement, breath, and nourishment—allowing the nervous system to soften and the heart to settle naturally.
What Rest Means This Week
Rest is not inactivity. It is the willingness to stop striving. When the body feels safe, the heart opens more easily.
Gentle Hatha Yoga Practice
This practice is slow and accessible:
- Seated breath awareness
- Gentle spinal movement
- Forward folding
- Simple twists
- Resting posture
Movement is optional. Listening is enough.
Kirtan Integration
The same kirtan melody introduced on Friday returns here—softer, slower, and familiar. You may chant, hum quietly, or simply rest in the sound.
Simple Sattvic Meal
A grounding one-pot meal is offered to continue the practice through nourishment.
