Help Support The Bhakti House
The Bhakti House is supported by people who believe in what we are building here in Jackson, Michigan.
Rather than maintaining a long list of fundraising projects, we want to keep this simple.
Your contribution helps meet the real, ongoing expenses of operating the temple, caring for the devotees who serve here, maintaining the property, distributing prasadam and books, and sharing bhakti with others.
Where Your Support Goes
Prasadam & Temple Groceries
We regularly purchase rice, dal, flour, vegetables, fruits, ghee, spices, nuts, and other sattvic ingredients for offerings to Krishna and prasadam distribution.
Your support helps us continue preparing and sharing prasadam with devotees, visitors, and the community.
Your Contribution Goes Further
The Bhakti House receives a 10% temple discount at Patel Brothers in Ann Arbor.
Because of this discount, financial contributions toward prasadam and groceries often go further than purchasing the same groceries individually and sending them to us.
For example, a $100 contribution can provide approximately $111 worth of groceries at regular retail pricing when we use our 10% temple discount.
Giving toward the Prasadam & Grocery Fund also allows us to purchase exactly what is needed that week, take advantage of sales, avoid duplicate items, and buy fresh ingredients when they are needed.
For this reason, if you would like to help with prasadam, a financial contribution is usually the most effective way to help.
